Alright, so apparently recording over an old miniDV does not work well. After "x" number of uses the quality goes down hill. I borrowed a camcorder to make the recording -- after, when I checked the clips on my computer, I saw parts of whatever was originally on the tape sporadically leak through in the form of ugly horizontal lines. You'll notice a few places where it skips, mostly you'll notice the parts where I spliced together "good" video from two separate recordings. Also ......
